Democrat Bill White has announced a three-month fellowship program. They are accepting applications now — here is the critical information:

We are currently accepting applications for unpaid 3 month fellowship with the campaign through May 3rd, 2009. Please fill out the following form and the campaign will be in touch with you shortly.

Applicants for Bill White Fellowships should be:

  • Interested and involved in statewide and national politics
  • Leaders within their own communities
  • Capable of learning the technologies used in campaigns
  • Strong in written and oral communication skills
  • Willing to work hard to achieve goals

Go here for the sign-up sheet on his website. Its also worth noting that fellows should have a college degree, but they will also be among the first considered for full-time employment at the end of the fellowship period.

    According to the website, it's a three month fellowship but it ends at the end of June? No wonder we cannot win elections, we cannot even count.

    Is this in Houston or will there be outreach offices in other parts of the state, say Dallas or Fort Worth?
