Tomorrow, the "Countdown to Get Covered" bus tour will launch in Houston, highlighting the March 31 deadline to sign up for the Affordable Care Act. The bus tour launch event will feature Enroll America president Anne Filipovic and State Senators Sylvia Garcia and Rodney Ellis.

As part of Get Covered America's final month blitz to reach out to uninsured consumers before the March 31 deadline, a 30-passenger "Countdown to Get Covered" bus will head off on a tour of Texas, stopping in major cities to appear at enrollment fairs, canvasses, phone banks, community events, schools and even the SXSW Festival to rally volunteers and encourage people to enroll in coverage.

After kicking off in Houston Tuesday, the "Countdown to Get Covered" bus tour will travel through McAllen, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, and Dallas.

Click below the jump for the full schedule, and RSVP for the "Rock Enroll" event at SXSW!

Perfect (0.00 / 0)
Bus? That's funny.

IF it keeps on schedule (0.00 / 0)
It will be the first thing involved with the ACS that has. Not to borrow metaphors but if it is truly the ACA bus it will end up in a ditch with no one on board. Unless of course they cancel bus service in Houston and it is the only option. 30 seats should be plenty.
