Karl Rove Flees from Women Protesters at CA Book Signing

by: Libby Shaw

Wed Mar 31, 2010 at 01:10 PM CDT

Karl Rove, a Vietnam War draft evading right wing war hawk, fled from the scene when a handful of ladies wearing pink hats confronted him at a book signing event.

Code Pink protesters at the Rove book signing event in Beverly Hills, CA let Karl Rove have it. Three or four women, at most, ripped his, Dick Cheney, and George W. Bush's clocks for lying about Iraq and their outing of a CIA officer. The women also accused Karl Rove of ruining our country.  That would be

totally ruining our country
according to one protester.  Another called Rove a war criminal.

One woman brought handcuffs and had attempted to make a citizens arrest. Karl Rove, unhinged and totally freaked fled from the event without signing a book.

Gosh, Karl, the ladies did not show up with assault rifles, semi-automatic weapons, white powder, mace, swords or whips, for crying out loud. Why are you so afraid of plastic handcuffs?

Before fleeing the scene Karl Rove did what he always does. He accused the protesters of doing exactly what he and Republicans have been doing in their scorched earth politics for as long as I can remember.  (Chapter 5, page 14, fourth paragraph of the GOP Manual for Serial Liars: How to Manipulate, Dupe, Scare and Lie to Voters to Get Elected.)

Rove went on to attack the ladies for their lack of dialogue and courtesy.  He accused the left of not wanting first amendment rights for anyone but themselves.

I guess Karl forgot about the tea party hate fest rallies that prevailed over the long and hot summer last year. As we have witnessed over and over and over, teabaggers could care less about first amendment rights for anyone but themselves.

Teabaggers gone wild:  A DVD.

Meanwhile Rove's right wing minions turned out in full force last week at our nation's Capitol.

So much for courtesy, respect and dialogue.

Karl Rove is typical of the sharks I have been writing about.  They pull the strings of others and then hide behind a curtain while their puppets do their bidding.  The puppets are the ones that end up exposed for cruelty, lunacy, and irrational fury while the sharks will aways come out smelling like roses.

But when the sharks have to confront some of of what they themselves have created we can see the full extent of their spineless cowardice.

Rove said, "The Downing Street Memos were complete fabrications." I'm sure he believes this.

Looking at that audience in the first video...there certainly weren't too many people coming to his defense during all of that. They mostly just sat there. I feel sorry for him. He's very delusional.

upon reflection...he seemed so giddy discussing it with Sean Hannity a few days ago. Maybe he set himself up in order to get the publicity/sympathy. I think there are some good odds of that.
