I am a corn dog Democrat
By Jim Dallas
Some people ask me,
am I a yellow dog,
a blue dog,
a green dog?
None of the above.
I'm a corn dog.
I warm people's hearts
I feed the young and make the old happy
I am comfortable at county fairs
and in your kitchen.
I believe in carrying a big stick.
I am bipartisan. I work equally well
with ketchup and mustard.
I am an American original,
and totally unlike those other dogs.
No bark nor bite nor tail nor scratch.
I am a corn dog.

JIM I LOVE IT!!!! This is great. I am passing it along to all the great democrats I know! I miss you man!
Now, Jim, that is one corn-y poem. :)
Great poem, dude. :)
I have this very bad habit of getting very hungry when I read something I like....and this my man, Jim, is something everyone should like because I am starved right now...
Geez Jim, how many years has it taken a transplanted Texan like you to sound as corny as all the rest of us?
Keep up the good work....but I would definitely try for a spell of clean air sometime soon.
Jim, you're just a corn dog - period.
:-p
