The Houston Chronicle reported yesterday (and CNN reports today) that interest in living wills has gone up considerably due to the Schiavo case.

Meanwhile, I'd like to extend sympathy to all the victims and families of the Texas City refinery explosion, which has injured hundreds of people and killed more than a dozen, according to local news reports, as well as to all of our friends and neighbors who work for BP/Amoco.
