This is some basic thinking on an online resource to do things similar to what I had just posted. Feedback much appreciated, this is just in the idea formation stage. Sorry about this being listed in terms more like technical specifications, but it's just how I'm thinking about the idea right now!
Overview & Goals:
Create an online resource which allows citizens to proactively plan their neighborhoods and the entire communities by providing all the important resources they need, from start to finish, in one place. Contains ability to map any section of Austin and mark items. Open discussion forum for sharing of vision, general information, notice of upcoming development & redevelopment. Allows the spontaneous creation of working groups for planning and community participation. Connects active citizens to planners, architects, and other professionals to create solid proposals. Links to developers, neighborhood associations, and other parties.
