The Travis County Coordinated Campaign has been working feverishly to enter data from our wildly successful precinct conventions into a database to be merged with other voter access information. Fortunately, there is a huge amount of data never before available to us. Unfortunately, this means there is a huge amount of data that needs entry.
The first deadline for completing the project has passed, and it's not done. The new deadline is August 15. In order to complete the data entry by then, we need volunteers all day, every day between now and then.
It only takes a few minutes to learn how to do what needs doing. You don't need any special skills. Bring a laptop if you have one, or use the computers at HQ if you don't. Bring any and all friends you can talk into helping.
HQ is open from 9am to 9pm every day of the week. It's located on the east side of I-35 between 11th and 12th streets, next to the CVS pharmacy. There are snacks and sodas and helpful staffers there all the time.
Even if you've never volunteered before, please consider helping out. This is a great way to get started, and because this is a coordinated campaign effort, it will benefit all democratic candidates both up and down the ticket.
