I'm moving to Texas, after a long 11-year hiatus. I was a delegate to the Texas State convention where I cast my vote for Clinton in 1996. I was 22 at the time (do the math). I've been a precinct committee chair for the Democratic Party in Texas, Oregon, and North Carolina, and I hope to get involved in Texas when I get my feet on the ground (moving to Somewhere around San Marcos). Anyway, wanted to introduce myself. I've read this blog periodically, but thought I'd sign up today, introduce myself, and just watch what happens in the chair-fight. I have no dog in this fight, though Maxey was my state rep for 4 years at one time.
