Like many others, I am extremely excited about the prospect of a competitive Democratic primary on a statewide level. I believe there are many positives about such a situation and also think it could prove very beneficial for the Democratic Party in this state, as well as the eventual nominee that takes on Cornyn in the general. However, there are a few questions concerning the race that I've been curious about and would like to hear everyone in the community's opinion on. Such as what field operations are already in place and what should the field ops look like soon, how much money is needed for this primary to remain competitive, whose support should be sought after, as well as many other miscellaneous topics.
