Tonight, Bush is expected to defend his Iraq War strategy, and outline his goals this year for global warming and alternative energy fuels, as well as immigration, health care and education.
ABC News researched the promises Bush kept - and the promises forgotten - after his 2006 State of the Union speech...and found that only one-third of them had been kept.
Undoubtedly, most of us will skip the speech. But those who do will be watching carefully, reminded after 6 years of failure and with each broken promise how important our struggle really is.

A federal judge ruled Thursday that the government's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional and ordered an immediate halt to it.
U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit became the first judge to strike down the National Security Agency's program, which she says violates the rights to free speech and privacy.
