King's Questionable Voter Registrants

by: Matt Glazer

Fri Feb 08, 2008 at 05:00 PM CST

I believe I have found the reason Phil King likes to keep a year-round residence in Austin and travel to the Super Bowl- he has at least 15 people living at his law firm. Working conditions must be deplorable.

Ok, well maybe there really aren't 15 people living there.  But there are 15 people registered at 2110 Fort Worth Hwy., Weatherford, Texas 76086, the address for King's law firm.

In the interest of protecting the integrity of the system and ferreting out voter fraud, I do believe this requires further research.  Maybe this deserves a peek through the bathroom window by the attorney general. I say this because not only does Phil King claim to run his business at this location, his district office is also at the same place, 2110 Fort Worth Hwy. Hmmm.

Here are the registrants:

Phil and the portion of his clan that is over 18
Phil King
Terry King
Hannah E King
Joshua D. King
Mary L. King

Phil's dad and mom
Barbara King
Earl R. King

Phil's sister and her family
Di Towson
Ryan E Towson
Steven C Towson

Various other registered voters
Billy N. Barnett
Paula K. Barnett
Donna Gibson,
Robert M. Gibson
Sarah M. Holt

Appears to be a purely commercial property (0.00 / 0)
The aerial view on Google maps shows the building is in a suburbanized area near commercial buildings, homes, and apparently a trailer park.

The two parking lots at the site don't look like anything I've ever seen on a residential building.

How is it listed on the property tax rolls?  Commercial or residential?

Voter fraud? (0.00 / 0)
Would this be the type of voter fraud a photo ID could solve?  No of course not.

Are we sure they all voted?  Can someone check their voting histories?

Very interesting.

Good work there Matt.

You da man! More research required but this is juicy!

I think this calls for a poll ... (0.00 / 0)

Phil King's law office is really ...

a) a hippie commune from the Sixties

b) a cult compound well stocked with guns and ammo

c) the set of that MTV series Real World Weatherford

d) like one of those old TV sitcoms where all the crazy relatives live together

e) a sweatshop run by Phil's mom

f) a haunted mansion where a group of people have to spend one night in order to inherit a million dollar but start dying one-by-one

g) a dinner theater where the whole family reenacts The Sound of Music nightly

h) a CIA safe house

i) an experiment to see if 15 people sealed inside a plastic bubble can grow their own food hydroponically

j) an entire county commissioners' precinct in Parker County
