Latest primary polls done the past couple of days show almost no movement in the Democratic primary but big changes in the GOP version.

Dems
Last month Clinton 51%, Obama 17%, Edwards 11%, Richardson 10%
This month Clinton 51%, Obama 17%, Edwards 15%, Richardson 8%
All candidates polled, but no one else got >1%

GOP
Last month Giuliani 23%, Huckabee 16%, Thompson 16%, Romney 12%
This month Huckabee 29%, Giuliani 16%, Thompson 14%, Romney 14%
All candidates polled, but no one else got >7%

Polls 12/11-12, ~4.3 MoE for each

Giuliani dropped to the point where he's trailing Huckabee by 13 points.  It's going to be awesome if our fair governor can't even deliver his state to Rudy.  Those VP aspirations keep getting further out of reach.

can you use regression analysis to see who the movers are?

i'm dying to know where giuliani's supporters went to...surely he didn't have a ton of evangelical support??


Rudy's moderates went to Huckabee (0.00 / 0)
I asked a series of issue questions last time and re-ran the series this month. Rudy's supporters were the most moderate last time, with Huckabee's a bit to the right of average for this population. This month, Rudy's (remaining) cohort was pretty average for the pop while Huckabee's was on the moderate side.
