| The GOP Fort Worth straw poll set for Saturday, September 1st, continues to lose Republican primary candidates like President Bush continues to lose cronies.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is the latest to pull out of the first ever Texas Republican straw poll, which leaves even the Star-Telegram now speculating whether the anti-war protest set for this Saturday will outnumber GOP attendees and delegates.
With Huckabee's withrdraw, that leaves only Texas congressman, and one time Libertarian Ron Paul, along with Right-Wing conservative congressman Duncan Hunter as the only real contendors.
The non-partisan anti-war protest is expected to number in the thousands. I know that I will be in attendance. For more details on Saturday's festivities, which begin at 12:30, check out the Texans for Peace website.
