Lubbock County Commissioners have seen their pay increase by $2000 in the last six years - more than $300 a year. But Blue 19th tells us that the Republican Commissioners don't consider that to be either "significant" or "enough". Already getting about 76% above the median county income for a family, the Lubbock GOP is rewarding themselves with a 13% pay raise.
And they are raising taxes to do it.
It would seem that they are following in the steps of the Royal Republican self-enricher Richie Randy Neugebauer.
