You're A Good Man Andy Brown

By Katie Naranjo

After block walking for months, an amazing special election, and rolling with the punches Andy Brown is supporting Donna Howard politically and financially for the run-off. After talking to many of his supporters, and gaining their approval, Brown is contributing to Howard’s campaign.

During the special election Andy also used funds to send out over 4,000 pieces of direct mail reminding voters about the election on Jan. 17th. Although he wasn’t running in the special he attended the CADW meeting and proved to be a class act. One thing is for sure…if Andy does run he will again prove to be a goodman.

Let me echo Ms. Naranjo's comments. Andy Brown has run a great campaign. When circumstances went against him, he carried himself with class and dignity. I think I speak for many folks in Travis County when I say, Thank You Mr. Brown. Your future is very bright in this town and we look forward to your next political effort.

I didn't know that Andy did thousands of mail pieces in the special. That certainly speaks to his character, especially if he's transferring or spending his funds for Donna in the special as is rumored.

John Courage sent out a e-mail today to his supporters urging them to support Donna in the run-off. It's why I support the Run Everywhere strategy because of the help that can be given back and forth like this.

Yes, Andy is a good man. He is one of the few I've seen who puts party before self. Recognizing that should all throw our weight behind Donna for this election is the right thing to do.

Andy has a big future. City Council? County Commissioner's Court? What's on the horizon in the near future?

Kudos to Kathy Rider for withdrawing from the primary as well.

Andy Brown never fails to impress. He got out early on and I'm sure all that work helped make the difference on Tuesday. THANK YOU ANDY!!!

Donna Howard's victory party was exciting, and her campaign has given hope to down ballot Democrats across the state. Donna is a great candidate who will get us one step closer in removing Craddick from power.

Having said that, I'm still a card-carrying member of the Andy Brown Fan Club. He did the right thing in supporting Donna, and he has built a solid grassroots following that will support him in any future endeavors that he chooses. We need more young Democrats like Andy to throw their hat into the ring as we revive the Texas Democratic Party.

With class like this, this man will find himself another seat he can be elected to. He would make a fine public servant.

Thank you Andy!

I am very proud to call Andy Brown my friend. He has worked harder and longer than anyone else in this election to see that a Democrat will take this seat back. Money, marbles and chalk any time for you my friend.
