Bentzin: #2, Like USC

Following up on Phillip's post below, I couldn't let this one go.
Ben Bentzin may say "I'm Vince Young and it's Halftime", but he's missing some very important facts. Like this one: Texas leads USC 16-10 at halftime at Rose Bowl.
Oops. And the best part is that USC's halftime score of 10 out of 26 total points scored, is almost a perfect match to Bentzin's 38% of the vote against his Democratic opponents.
So you're right Bentzin, it is halftime. It's just that your more of a Reggie Bush or Matt Leinart than a Vince Young. And if history holds true, you'll still be in second when this game is over.

Vince Young is ready to turn pro. Bentzin is clearly an amatuer. No comparison.

At least Bush and Leinart have won stuff before i.e. national championships and heismans. Bentzin has yet to win anything.
BOR is one of my favorite sites! But as a USC student (biased as I am), I find the posturing unwarranted. The game was close and . . .

3rd down efficiency:
USC - 57%
TX - 27%
Over two times as efficient on third down. That's almost a perfect match to the ratio of votes won by Clinton over PEROT!
SINCERE kudos to TX for winning the National Championship. You guys had a great team and deserved it. Vince Young is WOW. But if you're going to rub it in, then you need to be talking about the USC defense, which has absolutely stunk all season due to injuries (cough. Fresno State).
The USC offense doesn't take a backseat to TX or Vince Young. The highly vaunted Texas defense looked silly against Leinart, Jarrett, White, and EVEN Bush (pan to Lendale White delivering a NASTY stiff-arm to Thorpe-Award winner Huff or to Leinart's TD pass to Jarrett with Michael Griffin and Tarell Brown hanging off of him). USC had plenty of chances to win that night. They just didn't get the bounces. That's football.
So before you call out Reggie and Matt, remember that they are both getting drafted over Vince Young. It should be fun watching VY face an NFL caliber defense. There are these guys from USC named Troy Polamalu and Lofa Tatupu who can't wait to meet him. . .
Well, we'll give you Bentzin if you want him...
