HD 48 Update

According to today's Austin American Statesman, a federal judge has upheld Secretary of State Williams' decision to deny Andy Brown's petition to run in the HD 48 special election. Brown's attorney argued that given the circumstances of the special election, namely the time frame involved, however Judge Sparks said that "Life's not perfect, there are unforeseen events."
