Similarly, The Note for today mentions:
Roll call reports that DeLay purchased a paper shredder two weekends ago at the Needville Harvest Festival in Fort Bend County in his home state.
One of the reqirements for membership in the Republican Party is demonstrating proficiency with a paper shredder. Maybe he just wants to keep his paper shredding skills up to par.
Of course he could just be using it instead of a dart board. Shredding photos of his favorite Democrats instead of throwing darts at them.
To give equal time to the "Other Side," does the question of shredded documents in the Bill-Hillary Rose Law Firm fiasco bring back memories? And how about the Clintons' request for 900 FBI files on Republican officials that Bill Clinton downplayed as a "bureaucratic snafu?"
The "Other Side" spoke very eloquently on Sunday when Kay Bailey Hutchison stuck her very big foot in her very big mouth if you ask me.
Clinton lied about getting his "cigar smoked" in the Oval Office. Bush lied about the reason for sending thousands of our young men and women to their deaths along with tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens in Iraq. In short, Clinton got his buzz by getting blown. Bush gets his by blowing people up. Apparently the problem is that the Republicans don't get laid enough.
