Texas Wins 25-22 Over "The" Ohio State University
By Damon McCullar

It was a nail-biter, but the boys in burnt orange pulled through for us. Vince Young still has a nasty habit of just throwing the ball up for grabs.
The story tonight was the defense. They kept us in the game by denying Ohio State on several occasions and limiting their drives to field goals. The score should have been 30-22, but the officials denied a touchdown late in the 4th quarter. From what I saw of the replay, it was good. I'm kinda curious why THAT play wasn't reviewed as the refs had reviewed several plays prior to that.
Next stop is the Cotton Bowl. Sure there are games between now and then, but that's next hurdle on our way back to Pasadena.
That being said it was a day of upsets in the NCAA. (3)Michagan was upset by (20)Notre Dame, and (8)Iowa was downed by Iowa St. The Midshipmen of Navy lost to Stanford 41-38.

Anyone who was out there on the drag knows how crazy it was. Absolutely incredible. Stopped traffic, hundreds and hundreds of us giving high-fives, hugging and chanting everywhere. Never gonna forget that, ever.
And by the way, I guessed 26-24. Only 3 points off. I'll accept the title of official BOR sports guru now. :)
HOOK 'EM!!!
And so we bow down before the god that is Vince Young and the many little gods comprised of the Texas football program.
Adulation of Vince aside, he hasn't quite replaced the love I hold for the Major - my freshman year at UT was '98 and a more wonderful college football experience I cannot recall; we beat OU and A&M, Ricky broke the record and Texas went to the Cotton Bowl, I went to every single home game and the two in Dallas, plus Applewhite was a god so it's hard to let go of that awesome year.
Vince and the team have a few quirks to work out; the turnovers, the rushing, etc., but it was a beautiful, wonderful, crazy, heart attack inducing game and I loved/hated every second of it.
It was an incredible night in the horseshoe. The Texans showed a lot of class and heart. Congratulations on a great win. Can't wait to see you in Austin next year!
I saw the game last night in a cabin on the Guadalupe down by Canyon Lake. It's always good when Vince Young (the most exciting player in college football, apart from Regiie Bush) can overcome the absolutely shitty coaching of Mack Brown and Greg Davis. Here's hoping he can do it again against the Sooners.
