BORed - Turkey Meatballs, Dos XX and Cats - Oh My!

Those of us here at Camp Rita are showering, cooking and drinking (in no particular order and sometimes simultaneously). I'm sitting on my couch, eating and blogging. I've got a lot to talk about, but for now a little Eye Candy:

Thank you very much for blogging Rita. I'm an avid kos reader, which is how I found you. I have long lost friends in Houston, and while I don't keep in touch, I'm concerned about them. Your poignant, timely, earthy commentary is a wonderful way for the rest of us (I'm in Seattle) in the country to put a human face on something so far away. Unlike the MSM, the blogosphere creates much more genuine interfaces. I can almost feel the tension you feel, having been through a disaster myself once.
Kudos. Keep it up. And stay safe. Oh, yeah...and my beer is raised in a toast!
