DemFest Coverage
By Karl-Thomas Musselman
KUT, our radio station here, has an audio report on DemFest. There was also an Austin Chronicle and News 8 Austin report on it, located here.
Also, just to note, the Democratic nominee for CD 22 against DeLay is now 99% officially former Rep. Nick Lampson as Houston city councilman Gordon Quan has said he's not going to get in the race and is endorsing Lampson, who currently has a June fundraising "star" on his website.

Though it is unrelated, I just want to take this opportunity to say that the Dems definitely suck at baseball- when I left the congressional baseball game yesterday in the 7th inning, the GOP was leading by almost 10 runs....booyah!
I would have to disagree. While George W. Bush owned part of the Rangers he signed off on the trading of Sammy Sosa and fired manager Bobby Valentine who would go on to led the Mets to the World Series.
Now, tell me again ... who sucks at baseball?
Sadly, Bush manages a baseball team slightly better than he manages a country.
