Am I missing something?
By Byron LaMasters
Or is there a good reason why so many people are doing Google searches of "John Kerry" + orange and Kerry + orange today? I've received dozens of visits via those searches today, and I have absolutely no clue why.
Can anyone help here?

Sludge had something on his site yesterday. Trying to infer that Kerry has been in the tanning salon. A rehash of the Botox stuff except this time it's the color of his skin instead of the number of wrinkles in it.
Gotta love it. It's come down to what's on Kerry's skin versus what's not in Shrub's head.
Amen to that, Greg. Geez.
I was in our breakroom and one of my coworkers said she got the Drudge thing in her e-mail about Kerry looking orange. It's like 2000 all over again.
Let's not worry that the economy sucks, Americans are dying practically every day in Iraq, we haven't found Osama bin Laden, and a whole host of other issues. Let's worry about someone's skin tone.
I wonder if that image was Photoshopped. I have known images to be Photoshopped on Drudge's website before - it wouldn't be the first time.
It was on Drudge, and referred to a comment by Lynne Cheney. She saw a bunch of orange shirts in the crowd and said it reminded her of Kerry's suntan.
You are getting the hits because Kerry used a tanning solution. It was first reported by a local paper where he played football the other day. Numerous reporters have stated in their opinion that there was something DEFINITELY different in the last couple of days. Drudge picked up on it and then the conservative blogs etc ran with it.
He better hope it covers well with makeup and does react to the tv lights tomorrow!
It just shows you Kerry is a biiig fan of the Burnt Orange. Hear he's coming to UT and wants to see where the Aggies play.
John Kerry turned orange in preparation for his new job as a traffic cone... He is now the laughing stock of the world.

Now, many people have asked me, "Why is Kerry orange?"
Kerry has said that he got a tan while playing touch football at Harvard for one hour, while the Harvard paper noted his odd coloration before the game of football.
Yes, the man can't even tell the truth about something as simple as a tan (or, in this case, an oranging).
