Shock and Awe, Internet Style
By Jim Dallas
Strike fear in the hearts of evil-doers and vote for either legalized gay marriage or "civil unions" in this online poll by the American Family Association ("We're not anti-gay, we're just against the radical homosexual agenda!").
As of the moment, the options two (legalized marriage) and three (civil unions) hold a 53 percent combined-majority.
Thanks of course to Thumb on Atrios's Eschaton.

We're beating them. I did the poll via Atrios a few days ago and we were down 2:1, now we have a slight lead, and here's the results before they take it down:
I oppose legalization of homosexual marriage and "civil unions" 46.25%
(127974 votes)
I favor legalization of homosexual marriage 46.31%
(128155 votes)
I favor a "civil union" with the full benefits of marriage except for the name 7.44%
(20595 votes)
So, we're up by 181 votes (.06%) on the gay marriage over nothing (with another 20,000+ for civil unions). HAHA.
It's still up:
I oppose legalization of homosexual marriage and "civil unions" 46.12%
(128158 votes)
I favor legalization of homosexual marriage 46.42%
(128990 votes)
I favor a "civil union" with the full benefits of marriage except for the name 7.46%
(20732 votes)
And a .06% lead is now a .30% lead in a matter of hours. Nice.
The results are even more pronounced now.
