Thank you for your participation in the Deep Impact Discovery Mission to Comet Tempel 1. A compact disc bearing your name will be mounted on the impactor spacecraft that will collide with Tempel 1 making this the first mission ever to look deep inside a comet.
You are now part of the future discovery of clues about the beginning of our solar system as your name makes a Deep Impact!

Hehe, actually Brady, the CD is mounted on the impactor, which means it crashes into a comet at thousands of miles per hour, vaporizing it instantly. Although the idea is that, hopefully, it will leave a greasy spot on the comet, which is the indelible mark we should all be hoping to leave behind in this universe.
Actually, if you discover a comet, they officially name the whole darn thing after you.
Comet hunting is one of the few remaining ways that amateurs can make a major contribution to science.
