Zell sells out (again)
By Jim Dallas
Not at all shocking, but Instapundit and the Weekly Standard report that Sen. Zell Miller ("D?"- Georgia) will endorse President Bush.
I wish Senator Miller didn't have a driving need to make himself the bęte noire of Democrats generally and Southern Democrats specifically (despite Zell's insistence that the DNC has told "a third of the country to go to hell", upwards of 80 percent of the Democrats in the South have been moderate-to-liberal for years) before riding off into the sunset.

We'll miss Zell. Even when the Republicans win the seat, we will not be so assured of support on critical votes in the Senate.
screw him. why does he consider himself a democrat again?
You didn't mind him so much when he was the vote that gave you control of the Senate.
Goodbye Zell and good riddance. You will not be missed.
I will miss Zell. I wish he had been as good as a Senator as he was a governor. I think he did go a little too far on being a Bush man. But I'm not a fan of the DNC either. He understands the new south politics a lot better than you all think.
