Phone Banking for MoveOn.org Primary
By Byron LaMasters
I just received a call from the Howard Dean campaign reminding me to vote.
Meanwhile, Republicans are trying to rig the primary for Al Sharpton (har-har), but the good folks on free republic can't decide whether to vote for Sharpton or Kucinich. They're also a little paranoid. LOL.

You voted for Sharpton right?
I did...
What could be more fun than watching the Democratic party implode right before your very eyes?
If anyone needs an extra ballot, please send me an email.

LOL. If yall had any sense, you'd be helping Kucinich. Sharpton doesn't have a chance in the primary, and Kucinich does, and would be a disaster for the Dem party if he were the nominee, which won't happen, but I'm sure that it's entertaining speculation by yall Republicans.
You mean to tell me that Sharpton isn't a serious candidate? ;)
Hmm...better change my vote then.
In seriousness, the MoveOn Primary is probably one of the most little promoted, yet kickass web innovation idea I have seen in a long while.
I'd agree about MoveOn. My only complaint is that they should have limited the primary only to people that were members at the time that they announced they'd make an endorsement, so that people like you, Josh, wouldn't be voting, LOL. But they want to boost their membership, and the primary is doing that, and for everyone like you that joins, there's some well-meaning progressive joining MoveOn that supports their goals.
I support MoveOn's goals.
Esp. the one about liberalizing the Democratic Party. I fully support that one. The more they move the party to the Kucinich wing, the more the moderate Dems vote our way.
I hope a member of the "Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party" wins the primary, as evidenced by the last two times a liberal Democrat ran against a popular GOP incumbant, 1984 and 1972.
