TX-GOV: Bill White Launches Second TV Ad, Opens Ninth Field Office

by: Phillip Martin, Progress Texas

Fri Feb 05, 2010 at 04:12 PM CST

Earlier this week, Bill White launched his first TV ad on education. His second TV ad is a narrative-based spot:

This week, White also opened field offices in Fort Worth and McAllen. In all, they now have nine offices opened across the state:

Tomorrow, Bill White will spend an entire day in Central Texas, attending:

  1. The Coalition of Black Democrats State Convention at the St. James Baptist Church

  2. A Sun City Democrats Meeting

  3. The Williamson County Volunteer Kickoff at the the County's Party Headquarters

  4. The UT Democrats and Central Austin Democrats Endorsement Meeting

  5. The Texas AFL-CIO Convention

  6. The LULAC Candidate Forum

  7. "Cafe on the Square" -- A meet and greet with Patrick Rose in San Marcos

Bill White is running an incredible statewide campaign -- tomorrow's intense schedule is a daily reality for his campaign, and as he travels across the state, he's talking about education, restoring government to the people, and the need to balance a budget. It's a terrific message delivered by a campaign that raised more money than either Perry or Hutchison in January.

No matter how you slice it, Bill White is running an incredible campaign, and is a serious, serious threat to Rick Perry in the fall.
