| Happy Thanksgiving, Burnt Orange Report readers!
I hope everyone can count their joys to be thankful this year on both personal and more broadly political levels. Politically, we had an exciting start to the week with rumors flying of a beefed up statewide ticket. Kay Bailey Hutchison and Rick Perry are at each others' necks while fighting for the same mundane "policy issues," and health care reform has chugged along in Congress.
We clearly walk into this holiday with much work to do afterward, but we should be able to sit back and enjoy our turkey, anyways.
Our undefeated Texas Longhorns play the Texas A&M Aggies in the annual rivalry game tonight. Texas A&M is only one of two college football teams that have twice beaten Colt McCoy. The game also marks the only college football action in the country today, giving the senior a chance to highlight his stuff to Heisman voters.
The game is in College Station, though, so it could get interesting. I say we'll either squeak through or blow them out.
Any predictions? I say 42-10 Longhorns. Hook'Em. |
