FNC viewership up as conservative voters become disenchanted with a party that in the last 8, years has moved toward the bigger government/higher tax of the spectrum.

It's been there for  the last 30 years.

Ronald Reagan raised taxes on the middle class and wasted billions of dollars on Star Wars.  The Texas Republicans are no better.  Households with less than $27,000 annual income pay 12.4% in taxes while households over $110,000 pay 4.9%.

The distinction between the parties is diminishing.  Look at the 2008 election.  It was who can promise the most.  Conservatives are further right than the GOP.

No usable correlation in that graph (0.00 / 0)

The r-squared value is only .301 (I had to pull the values off the graph, so interpretations could vary slightly, but not much).  No one who understands correlation analysis would call that a signficant connection.  The data is all over the place.  

I hate to tell you this, but this is data that Bill O'Reilly would proudly boast about on his show.  It goes against the notion that Fox News is nothing but a GOP haven.
