As one would expect Karl Rove blatantly lied about Senator Arlen Specter's motivation for switching his Party affiliation from Republican to Democrat.
In a statement issued earlier today, Senator Specter said his former Party had moved too far right.
Since my election in 1980, as part of the Reagan Big Tent, the Republican Party has moved far to the right. Last year, more than 200,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania changed their registration to become Democrats. I now find my political philosophy more in line with Democrats than Republicans.
Speaking from FOX Looney Tunes News, Rove said Specter had lurched left.

Turd Blossom obviously didn't get what Specter said about the 200,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania who ditched their Party for President Obama, either.
Listen to what Senator Specter actually said here.
Also coming from the whacko world of the far right, Cornyn had said last week:
Specter is the best bet to keep Pennsylvania with a GOP seat.
A vote for Arlen Specter is a vote for denying Harry Reid and the Democrats a filibuster-proof Senate.
"Senator Specter's decision today represents the height of political self-preservation. While this presents a short-term disappointment, voters next year will have a clear choice to cast their ballots for a potentially unbridled Democrat super-majority versus the system of checks-and-balances that Americans deserve."
Hey John, where were the checks and balances when you and your Party rubber stamped W.'s ginned up war with Iraq? Where were they when you guys tried to interfere in a family decision in the Terri Schiavro case? I was beginning to think you Republicans were going to impose a Christian form of Sharia law upon us at the time.
It just goes to show us how Cornyn and his soul mates on the right are disingenuous hypocrites who are completely out of synch with current day realities.
More whacko speak from the Looney Tunes right follows below.
The righty rights have gone so over the top that they are scaring their more moderate membership.
"I've always been deeply concerned about the views of the Republican Party nationally in terms of their exclusionary policies and views towards moderate Republicans," said Snowe, who has been approached, she said, by Democrats in the past about switching parties.
Come on over Senator Snowe. Come on out of the looney bin.
