I just returned from the Reagan office building, where I signed in against HB 125 and SB 362, the Voter
ID Supression legislation. Bad news: when I arrived, the room was chock-a-block full of folks in favor of voter suppression.
There's still plenty of time to go sign in, so please head down to the Reagan building and make your voice heard against this legislation.
Where: Reagan Office Building, 105 W. 15th, Room 120.
When: Right now. There's a HUGE line of people waiting to testify, so get down there and sign in against HB 125 (pink sheet) and SB 362 (green sheet).
I saw a lot of folks on the side of voting rights in the room, but I also saw way, way too many people who want to make it harder for honest, hard-working Americans to vote. So please, take 10 minutes out of your day and go make your voice heard, even if it's on a piece of paper.
