The Texas Republican Party Continues To Be A Ship Of Fools

by: slinkerwink

A friend of mine who works in the Texas Legislature just forwarded me this e-mail, and I had to share this with you guys, in light of the fact that Dubya is moving back to Texas to help raise money for the Texas Republican Party in hopes of keeping Texas red in 2010 and 2012.

I'm a very proud Texas Democrat, and I love my state. I'm going to work my little backside off to make it a blue state in 2010 and 2012! With this said, please join me in laughing at the ineptness and utter cluelessness of the Texas Republican Party as they continue to wander in the desert for the next 40 years.

Dear ,

While today is the start of the Obama presidency, it is also a time to renew our commitment to our conservative principles which will carry us to victory in 2010 and beyond.

Will you accept your personalized Republican Party of Texas Member Card with my deepest thanks? Together we fought the harshest political climate imaginable, we re-elected Senator John Cornyn and now we're ready to stand tall, fight hard and win tomorrow's battles.

With your Member Card in hand, , I know you'll be with us and there's not a speck of doubt in my mind, we're going to beat the "pass-the-buck, hike-the-taxes" Democrats BIG TIME.

OH NO! The pass-the-buck, hike-the-taxes Democrats! Oh my lawd, whatever are we poor Republicans to do in the face of the Democratic onslaught?

You can make an online request for your red, white and blue Republican Party of Texas Member Card with your election-winning contribution of $25, $50, $100, or more today.

We need your help now because after fighting off the Texas Trial Lawyers and Out-of-State Liberal Special Interests who were trying to bump off Senator Cornyn, our treasury is drained.

Awww, their treasury is drained. I just feel so sorry for these poor, besieged Texas Republicans. Let's add onto their continued misery by donating to The Texas Democratic Party!

And meanwhile, Barack Obama and Texas Democrats are already making plans for 2010 and beyond. Just last week, they announced a massive organizing and fundraising effort for the next generation of Obama for America.

This one had me laughing for ten minutes straight. I had no idea that community service events were so evil, and helping other Americans in need was seen as a sign of the evil mastermind plan that Obama and his team of ingrates had cooked up for 2010. Ah, those poor wee Republicans.

We've seen their feisty passion as 12 Texas Senate Democrats fought tooth and nail the FIRST DAY of the session to kill our Voter ID legislation.
Despite all that, I'm going to make a bold prediction:

2010 is going to be a banner Republican year!

Not if the Texas Democratic Party has anything to say about it, so come on, help out the Texas Democratic Party by donating some of that hard-earned cash! Just imagine the schadenfreude we'll feel when they're wailing and gnashing their teeth and rending their garments when we kick their asses in 2010 and take the State of Texas back in 2012!

There is not a state party alive that's as good as our Republican Party of Texas and you'd better believe we're going to be ready to win the Governor's Office, and add to our congressional and state legislative majorities if...

We can raise the money to fight off the Democrats' cut-throat tactics and gutter strategies because mark my words...

I really love how she makes us Democrats sound like the bad, evil guys. Ooooooh, makes me want to join the Texas Democratic Party, eh? Why, it sure does!

Thanks to the Hollywood elite who have attached themselves like barnacles to the Democrats, they will have money to burn!

Er, was that coffee I just spat out onto the desk?

President Obama is already appeasing these far left elements that were the base of his support. Talk is that his very first executive order will allow homosexuals to openly serve in the United States Military.

Oh no! The gays are coming! Oh no!

The stakes are huge and that's why I'm coming back to you, urging you to stay involved and inviting you to play a heroic part in our coming battles.

Please request your personalized Member Card and take action. Make a generous online contribution today. Help us now and watch us win!

Sincerely yours,

Tina Benkiser, Chairman

Psssst.....want to feel that schadenfreude we felt when we elected Barack Hussein Obama to be our President on November 4th, 2008? And the utter glee from yesterday when he was sworn into office?

You can get a small taste of that today by donating to the Texas Democratic Party!!!!!
