KVUE Reporter Elise Hu Interviews Tom Craddick

A great, great interview. Go read it all here.

Craddick says three times that he doesn't have any regrets, doesn't think he made any wrong decisions, and that there were no real mistakes that he made in the process. He blames his fall strictly on (1) the national economy (2) the war, and (3) Members wrongly believing he led with an iron fist. Incredible.

Again, read the whole interview. It's really good.

what I found most incredible (0.00 / 0)

Were these three delusional comments:

"We fixed homeowners insurance... we changed it, we put more money in schools, got us out of court on the school issue, put more money in higher education than we've ever had before"

Well, I guess we "changed" homeowners insurance, but the only people it fixed it for were the insurance companies.

He really calls that shell game of moving the money around for education, "we put more money in schools"???

The STATE put more money in higher education? Certainly parents put more money in higher ed.
