Obama Won Maverick County, TX

I wanted to highlight this from my post below about the 28 TX counties Obama won:

County	Obama	McCain	Vote Margin
Maverick	8,554 (78.2%)	2,316 (21.2%)	6,238

Some census numbers about Maverick County and its 47,297 people:

9.20% of the population is 18 to 24 years old
9.50% who are 65 years of age or older
Median family income: $23,614
It is the 9th poorest County in the United States

Here in Texas, the Mavericks really need Obama.

The most impressive thing about them is they have hope (0.00 / 0)

So roughly 80 percent of the voters were neither very young nor very old. They were somewhere between 25 and 64, and they voted their economic interests. That makes them very, very smart.
