Watch Barack Obama's 30 Minute TV Broadcast

by: Karl-Thomas Musselman

Wed Oct 29, 2008 at 08:40 PM CDT

If you missed it, watch it, and then think about the 109 year old African American daughter of a slave in Bastrop, TX who voted for Obama.

I cried. In a week, this man will be elected our president.

Bill Clinton was on fire too (0.00 / 0)
Great video ad - history making.  Very positive, very well produced.

Great rally afterward. Clinton forceful about his support. I hear Biden was "Fighting Joe" at the rally too.

any video of the rally? (0.00 / 0)
I missed the live event and just watched the youtube.  Has anyone seen a link to the rally after?

Obama's Address - sorry this is long! (0.00 / 0)
Last night at 8 o'clock, I was with my sick 4 year old daughter, watching a movie about a dog who rescues children.  I am an avid Obama supporter and am a representative of the Democratic Committee in my community, for my ward and district.  I just did not have the heart to make my little girl turn off her movie so I could watch Sen. Obama address the nation.  I thought, "Well, the Senator would want me to let her keep watching the movie.  I can watch it on the Net tomorrow morning."

So here I am, I just finished watching the broadcast, it is 7 a.m. and I have tears running down my face.  My love for Barack and his ideas and policies isn't just about the man himself (for he is only a man, only human like the rest of us), it comes from what he represents: the hope and possibility of an America I/we have always dreamed of having. He inspires me/us in a way that I have never witnessed before and certainly not from a politician.  I pray to God each night that he wins next Tuesday (and I beleieve he will).  Barack, along with Biden and the administration he will choose, are exactly what we need right now.  I just hope people (esp. undecideds, how can you be undecided?), can put aside their biases and judgments, and do what is really best for us all, for our country.

He will become our next presdent, you are so right Kerl :)

I just hope (0.00 / 0)
that the Driskill is the type of place where I can simultaneously cry while hugging everyone around me with a champagne glass in my hand on Tuesday.
