Lyle Larson appears to be a FairTax supporter.  The FairTax is a replacement for the income tax, not an addition to it.

The FairTax proposal, supported also by Mike Huckabee, is actually a regressive tax for America.  It taxes things that are not taxed today such as food, gas and other things unless they are exempted which has never been clarified.

Studies have shown that a sales tax always hurts the low and middle income families more than the higher income families.  Lyle Larson is for more taxes, those that affect the low and middle class of America.
