Nice Ad. . . (0.00 / 0)
is he running against an oil or insurance dude?

As I understand it, Todd Hunter lobbies for both.

Democrats Need More Candidates Like Juan Garcia (0.00 / 0)
A very good spot for a very good candidate. So good in fact that I have even become a contributor. Democrats need more folks like Juan to try and take back our state and local governments. Let's hope John Sharp goes after Hutchison.

Setting aside the content of the copy... (0.00 / 0)
In terms of ad technique... I don't like it.

The editorial is flat, dated and choppy, with little or no time left to linger and absorb, and the music choice is wistful Band of Brothers pseudo-emotional crap. The camera moves and blocking are terrible and the transitional dissolves and badly cropped mattes are something his kids could probably do better in iMovie. They were even lazy with the Unicode quotation marks, failing to use book quotes.

They spent their money on the meaningless fly-over and should have put some of it into better postproduction.

I'm sure he's a great guy filled with great ideas and a gusto for hard work.

This sleepy little ad, however, has "tune me out" written all over it.

"I wonder now what Ernest Hemingway's dictionary looked like, since he got along so well with dinky words that everybody can spell and truly understand." -- Kurt Vonnegut

Is it just me or does he kind of sounds like the next Senator from Virginia?
