| Looks like Karl Rove argued against Tim Kaine for lack of experience just last month.
But now ~ Sarah Palin is the perfect choice for VP because of her experience ~ which just so happens to be much less than Tim Kaine's. If you haven't seen it, this video from last night's Daily Show is hysterical.
And Rove believes her to be a populist, too. He absolutely adores her!

| What does Sarah Palin know?
I think she knows how to deliver a Bush speechwriter's speech.
"She mastered the words written by the Bush speech writers and delivered them well," said Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, adding that the speech was a string of partisan attacks "that we've heard before... Unfortunately, that's what locks D.C. into the paralysis that's been there for years." [emphasis added.]
She certainly knows how to bring home some bacon. More money per person than any other state in 2008 ~
Just this year, she sent to Sen. Ted. Stevens, R-Alaska, a proposal for 31 earmarks totaling $197 million - more, per person, than any other state. [emphasis added.]
But she says they're not federal earmarks:
Palin wrote that she supports state earmarks "when there is an important federal purpose and strong citizen support." [emphasis added.]
John McCain would have none of it last fall:
Just last month, presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, said pet projects could have played a role in a Minnesota bridge collapse that killed 13 people earlier this year.
"Maybe if we had done it right, maybe some of that money would have gone to inspect those bridges and other bridges around the country," McCain told a group of people in a town-hall style meeting in Ankeny, Iowa.
"Maybe the 200,000 people who cross that bridge every day would have been safer than spending $233 million of your tax dollars on a bridge in Alaska to an island with 50 people on it." [emphasis added.]
That's all. |
