Austin GLBT Groups Endorse in City Council Race

The SDs asked Cid Galindo if he's a Democrat (since Democratic clubs can only endorse Democratic candidates). Answer: no, he's an independent (and voted in the 2004 Republican primary).  I personally like Cid, but many might find that information useful.

Kedron, I'm not sure if that's true about Dem Clubs since nobody is actually registered with a party - or as an independent for that matter. However, I do think that many in the Dem club arena will agree that Cravey and Morrison have some solid progressive credentials and will take that into account.

In Place 3, Randi is picking up endorsements from all over the spectrum - go Randi! Not only did she pick up these two, but she also has NXNW Dems (which includes the Northcross neighborhood), and the public safety unions. This is an impressive broad base of support for a first-time candidate.
