Does Mike McCaul Agree With His Brother-in-Law?

by: Dan Grant

( - promoted by Matt Glazer)

The junior Congressman From Clear Channel has been notably silent during the uproar over rightwing talk show host Rush Limbaugh's attack on U.S. troops who oppose the White House's misadventure in Iraq as "phony soldiers."

Now Rep. McCaul's brother-in-law, the CEO of the company that broadcast Limbaugh's diatribe, is defending the indefensible.

"It would be unfair for me to assume his statements were intended to personally indict combat soldiers," said Mr. Clear Channel, as quoted in part by Fox News.

It's time for Mike McCaul to come out of hiding and tell us whether he stands with Rush Limbaugh and his in-laws -- which include the Chairman, the CEO, and the President of Clear Channel -- or with the brave men and women who are defending Limbaugh's right to broadcast such irresponsible statements.

Sincerely,

Dan Grant

His vote against S-CHIP (0.00 / 0)
He's got all sorts of reasons to hide.
McCaul voted against S-CHIP funding, even though Texas is leading the nation in uninsured kids.
He'll email me photos of himself with what must be "phony" Gold Star Mothers, too.

This man does not represent me.  I believe Dan will.

Mr. Grant,

The people in this nation are just now beginning to learn how powerful and dangerous a tool negative propaganda can become.

One must remember the Nazi's propaganda that proved without a shadow of doubt, the "The bigger the lie the easier it is to believe," and "A lie told long enough, and often enough to enough people, the lie becomes adopted as the truth."

This is what hardcore political party politics and oppositionist, obstuctionistic, political party propaganda can and more than often becomes..."a malvolent tool of distruction to dismantle opposition, and in fact dismantle an entire nation and its government."

From 1933 to 1939, the German populous didn't believe in the powers and destruction of evil propaganda either, until it was much too late to stop the runaway Nazi propagnada freight train from wrecking their entire nation....and the citizenry here, right now, don't believe that can happen here at home in the good old U S of A.

One must remember that the "FULL EFFECTS" of negative political propaganda comes about gradually...over time, the same spiel repeated over and over and over, every day, all day, to its intended audiences.  It took seven years in Germany for the lies to take full effect allowing a complete Nazi, aka, National Socialist Party, takeover in Germany.

All the warning signs of an attempted internal coup here are glaring us all in the face, now what are we to do about stopping this run away freight train that just could change the face of our nation into something so evil as to be unrecognizable if the propaganda machines are left intact, go unabated, until its too late to stop them.

Is it time to stop or continue to shop?

Never mind, don't bother to reply...nothing like an internal takeover coup could ever happen here in the United States...could it.....rush limbaugh isn't part of a malvolent ultra right wing extremist propaganda machine is he...rush is a nice guy and is always right isn't he...

Shed your politcal party skins and think for yourself...you'll find it much more refreshing than sucking on the tailpipe of a political party propaganda machine.
