SCOTUS Delivers Freedom to Marry, Obamacare, & Confederate Tears

This week Imad and I unpack the major decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court and the defiance it has prompted from the Texas GOP which is now more like the party of George Wallace than Abe Lincoln.

Over 1 million Texans still have affordable healthcare and every LGBT Texan now has the freedom to marry. Apparently none of this sits well with our U.S. Senator Governor, Lt. Governor or Attorney General. They are all throwing tantrums and doing all but calling for secession.

We have a pretty balanced Supreme Court, which means the GOP has gone pretty far to the right when their policies are being shot done one by one for their unconstitutional nature.

Deriving from an earlier ruling by SCOTUS I give an update on the Confederate statue issue on the UT campus which has made some progress. We shall see if the shift in media attention hits the breaks on any developments.
