In this PACKED show Imad and I discuss the insane amount of national headlines coming out of Texas this past week.

We talk about the Charleston shooting, how it has renewed a push to remove the statue of Confederate “hero” Jefferson Davis from the campus of UT, and the Texas NRA member who blamed the pastor for not arming his congregants.

We go over a major Texas Supreme Court decisions that prevented the Attorney General from barring the divorce of a same-sex couple.

Then there is the conspiracy theorists who think the recent rains are part of a government plot to destroy Texas and who also want to see the state repatriate its gold into its own Fort Knox.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Pope gave his Encyclical about climate change the same week as Gov. Abbott signed a bill limiting lawsuits against large polluters. Welcome to Texas folks!
