Texas Floods, Climate Change, Guns & Money

In this episode, Imad and I discussed some of the misplaced priorities in the budget just passed by the legislature. If you have ever listen to our podcast you know Imad is a professional video game reviewer, so he took it extra person that the state is cutting funds that the gaming industry relies on. Other Democrats in the legislature voiced concerns about education, heath care, infrastructure, and $800 million approved for border security.

We also talk about the floods that have ravaged cities across the state, including our home cities of Houston and Austin. And, the worst part seems to be that it hasn’t had any affect on Ted Cruz’s denial of climate change.

Oh, and because it’s the last week of the Texas legislature, we’d be remiss if we did not talk guns and abortion.

Listen, share, and let us know what we missed!
