Left in Texas been on hiatus for a bit, but we’re back with delivering the week in politics and what you need to know and the what for in the 84th legislative session.

There’s a lot of the “God, Gays and Guns” pandering, but there are also bouts on local control that will have real economic impact on the state. The business community is (along with moderate Republicans) increasingly coming to head with the Tea Party, and that’s setting up some interesting drama between the House and Senate.

On the national stage, things are really starting to shape up as Rand Paul enters the race for the GOP nomination and Hillary Clinton is set to announce her bid sometime Sunday afternoon.

Listen to the show and let us know what you think!
