Left in Texas: How Same-Gender Marriage Came To Texas + More

Imad and I dedicate this episode to discussing the events that led up to Texas’ first legal same-gender marriage. We talk about the legalese, the political implications and what it was like (for me) to witness the entire milestone firsthand.

In our new segment “Welcome to Texas” we talk about the push to end AP History because some politicians can’t stand any non-glorifying propaganda being used to educate kids on what really happened in the past. And we talk about the protesters of an Islamic conference dedicated to ending Muslim extremism (but wait, isn’t that everything conservatives ever wanted??).
