ITS NOT WHAT HAD TO HAPPEN... (2.00 / 4)
SORRY BUT MY P C HAS A CLITCH AND TYPES IN CAPS.. TALK ABOUT HOW CIRO IS PULLING OFF THE IMPOSIBLE..NO...CIRO WOULDNT NEED A RUNOFF IF ALL THOSE OTHER JOKERS HADNT DECIDED TO RUN IN THE SPECIAL ELECTION..OK...IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A CIRO/HENRY ELECTION ..CIRO WOULD HAVE WON OUT RIGHT BY A BARE MARGIN BUT HE WOULD HAVE RUN...THAT POLL THAT HAS CIRO WITHIN 3%(POLLS WITH 4.6% MARGIN OF ERROR IS OFF AND POLLSTERS NEED TO GET BETTER METHODOLOGY...CIRO IS  LEADING BY 1.7%..SHOULD WIN WITH OVER 52 PERCENT GIVE OR TAKE 1.5% WHICH IS A MORE PRECISE COUNT)... NOW IF THE VOTER TURNOUT IS HIGHER THAN ESTIMATES OF A NORMAL RUNOFF ELECTION..CIRO COULD WIN BY MORE BUT ILL STICK WITH  THE  ABOVE NUMBER CUZZ EVEN 50% PLUS  ONE VOTE IS A WIN...BONILLA IS CALLING ALL OVER D C AND TEXAS LOOKING FOR EXTRA MONEY...A SIGN OF DESPAIR..I KNOW CUZZ HE CALLED A COUSIN OF MINE...SO ALL IS RIGHT  WITH THE WORLD ..

PS..GET THE LAWYERS READY IF THE  MARGIN IS  THE ABOVE MENTIONED...I LOVE RECOUNTS AND COURT HEARINGS..A LA CIRO AND HENRY CUELLAR..FUNNY I CAN ADDRESS CIRO AS CONGRESSMAN BUT WITH HENRY CUELLAR ..I CANT...HMM..MAYBE CUZZ I KNOW HIM TO WELL...

Actually the runoff probably helps Ciro (3.00 / 2)
If it was just Ciro v. Bonilla before hand, there wouldn't be Democrats from around the nation here to help.  There wouldn't be other Texans like me paying more attention to this campaign than any other.  Everyone would be focused on other things; on their local elections.

It is true that Bonilla has pulled some national Republicans, too; but Democrats are more upbeat and motivated after a big win so far and would like to get more.  Meanwhile, Republicans are down after a loss and not nearly as energetic.  Their hopes are a lot less after being blown away, so they aren't putting as much in as the Democrats.

This seat was thought of as a pretty safe Republican seat until the runoff came about.

no it doesn't (0.00 / 0)
Your PC does not have a glitch that forces it to type in all caps. The would make it unusable for any day to day use and I highly doubt that any of your professional or personal contacts find that acceptable.

Type normally or I will 0 out every post you make in all caps and it will disappear. No excuses.

It might have something similar... (0.00 / 0)
KT, just to let you know: my sister's PC had a problem where when caps-lock was off the computer would type all caps and when Caps-lock was on it would type in lower-case.

I suspect this is the same problem.  I'm just letting you know that it isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Sticky Key (0.00 / 0)
If you hold shift too long on some PCs, it becomes a sticky key.  If you don't know how to take it off, then it could feel as though caps lock was always on.

[ Parent ]
WTF, KT? (0.00 / 0)
Why do you feel the need to be an a-hole about this?

So the guy has bad comment etiquette...So he's not computer-smart enough to know how to fix sticky keys, or whatever...

Why decide he's sacrified his opportunity to use the BOR community to share his opinions?

I understand 0 rating or flat out deleting comments from someone who is obscene or abusive.  But c'mon, cut the dude some slack.

please (0.00 / 0)
IF THERE IS NO INCENTIVE TO CHANGE OR FIX THE PROBLEM, THEN IT WILL NOT GO AWAY AND PEOPLE WILL THINK IT'S JUST FINE AND DANDY TO WRITE IN ALL CAPS.  IT'S NOT AN ACCEPTABLE WRITING POLICY, IS ANNOYING, DISTRACTING, AND HAS NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO BEGIN WITH. SO STOP BEING AN A-HOLE ABOUT IT YOURSELF OR GO RUN YOUR OWN BLOG.

Please read the Community Guidelines and How to Rate Comments.

OMG (0.00 / 0)
IS THIS NOT THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER? IT'S SO MUCH BETTER TO JUST SHOUT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY BECAUSE EVERYONE CAN CLEARLY REALIZE AND DIFFERENTIATE A WIDE RANGE OF SUBTLE WRITTEN CUES AND EMOTION LIKE MY UNDYING LOVE TO CMISTRESS.

BOR (0.00 / 0)
Damn, I can't scream BOR since it's in all caps as it is anyways. Maybe I should write it as bor to make it stand out.

what an over the top response.  Are you by any chance also a supporter of the death penalty?

Welcome to the landlord from hell club.

Well, (0.00 / 0)
he probably should. It's simply impracticle to have a broken keyboard, plus it's annoying. I'm definetely sure he types other things and in other places besides BOR.

I really like this blog....it was the first one i came across in 2004 when henry cuellar  decided to run against ciro and the whole texas political talking heads  had thought that he was gonna run against bonilla...i dont know how they knew or figured it out..but like me...BOR.. did..since i have known henry cuellar since high school and ran his first state race as well as judy zaffirinis first race...and also his race in 2002 against bonilla...couldnt help in 2004 directly cuzz ..lets say..i knew of all the crap that went on in 2002 and decided 2 FBI interviews were enuff...any one ever hear of canoneras..  attempted vote buying..forged checks..resident aliens trying to get U S citizenships the easy way.. as a U S citizen..i know that i only answer what i am asked...nuff said..but  stay tuned for a hell of a book on  SOUTH TEXAS POLITICS..LAREDO STYLE..mixing henrys race in 2002 as well  as the state race for representative of adolfo campero against guillen... corrupt attorneys..not to mention the day to day  innuendo..you name it ..it happened..BTW ..i cant even start with the 2004 race..2006 race ditto

So with that my fellow texans..i ask do  BOR'ERS ever get together...GIG EM...
