Left in Texas: Ted Cruz takes on the Internet, Rick Perry

0 Flares Filament.io 0 Flares ×

This week Imad and I discuss Ted Cruz coming to Austin to declare war on the internet after comparing Net Neutrality to Obamacare, with Rick Perry fumbling behind him. Cruz’ nascent but meteoric political career has been based on taking long odds and Perry’s on being ahead of the curve (he was pre-Tea Party), but I’m surprised they believe just because people tolerated the government being shut down for a few days, that they’re prepared for the slowdown of the internet.

We also talk also about Bernie Sanders’ proposal to making Election Day a holiday and why the Tea Party won’t be electing the Texas Speaker of the House.

Listen, subscribe and give us some feedback on the show, thanks!
