TX-19 Ricketts endorsed by Star-Telegram and Esquire

by: LubbockDem

Mon Oct 16, 2006 at 04:01 PM CDT

Today the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Esquire magazine endorsed Robert Ricketts. The Star-Telegram stated, "Put simply, Ricketts is a more impressive candidate than the incumbent..." Esquire called the Ricketts endorsement an "easy choice."

now if he could only get that ever unreachable by a Democrat AJ endorsement.

Of course, by now AJ readers may be looking to them for the endorsment of the candidate they know NOT to vote for.

Here's Hopin'.

I've seen Ricketts signs all the way to the edge of the district and they seem to outnumber the other guys. Hope this is a measure of Robert's support.

Good Luck Guys!

It all adds up
Star-Telegram

An accounting professor at Texas Tech University, Democrat Robert Ricketts is an impressive first-time political candidate with the intellectual firepower and integrity to be a highly effective representative for U.S. House District 19.

(snip)
Put simply, Ricketts is a more impressive candidate than the incumbent, Rep. Randy Neugebauer, R-Lubbock, who has held the seat since 2003 and previously was a Lubbock developer. Neugebauer, 56, declined to meet with or be interviewed by the Star-Telegram Editorial Board.

Oh man Neugebauer must be crazy, or too arrogant to pass up meeting with the Editorial Board.

Wow, randy is only 56 (0.00 / 0)
I hope I hold up better than he has, i would have guessed he was 9 or 10 years older than that.

Prisoner of hope.
