In episode 44 for the week of November 3rd, we discuss what happened Tuesday, November 4th. What went wrong for Democrats, where were the bright spots and what is the pathway forward for Texas progressives? That just some of the questions Imad and I attempt to answer.
We also review the failed urban rail bond initiative in Austin, and the fracking ban that passed in Denton. Oh and marijuana is now legal in 2 more states, plus Washington D.C. — will Texas be next? Rick Perry has already insinuated it’s an issue he is willing to look at, but hopefully Democrats will take the lead in advocating for that change in our state.

You might want to add Who could not vote to the question. Some tried and were refused.
Possibly the lemmings that vote democrat are tired of being stupid.
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass”
only thing I disagree with is that it was not the stupidity of the American voter but the stupidity of the Democratic American voter.
Lemmings? Surely, you are meant Republicans, the party of me and fuck everyone else.
No, I’m pretty sure I meant the D’s. Not sure how many R’s voted for the party that thinks the American voter is stupid and has a lack of economic understanding. Just ask John Gruber. John didn’t say lemming but did call the supports of Obamacare stupid and they have a lack of economic understanding.
