Now that former San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro is the new Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, he’s taking D.C. social media by storm.

All in all, Castro’s new position in D.C. is elevating his national profile and enabling him to advance housing policies that fight discrimination and promote sustainability. It’s great to see him gain this experience, because like many Texans I hope to see him on the ballot again soon.
